    Jbwharris take a look at this page showing all the releases for for sync 2. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MyFord_Touch I upgraded about a year ago to 3.10 from 3.8. What method did you use to downgrade the software on your car? What was the 4.4 version for ?

    I go for highest mpg’s , can’t fill tank to top in Oregon. Is full when it clicks off.

    I think this is the update that increased ev speed in aug 2013. SSM 44124 - Customer Satisfaction Program 13B07 Fuel Economy Improvement - Powertrain Control Module Calibration Certain 2013 Model Year C-MAX, Fusion, and MKZ Hybrid Vehicles - Fuel Economy Improvement - Powertrain Control Module Calibration When updating the PCM and SOBDM-C modules as part of FSA 13B07, use IDS R85.05 and either the VCM I or the VCM II. If the IDS software has been updated to R86.00, the user must update to R86.01 and use the VCM I. Do not use the VCM II and IDS R86.01 to perform FSA 13B07.

    Yeah find an equivalent physical/electrical sized 12v battery and put in there. Maybe the case of the old battery is cracked. There is a battery reset that should be done also to tell the car that a new battery was installed. Ford dealer can do that. There is also an energi forum, this one is mostly for hybrids. Good Luck!

    Is there a reset/test button the AC outlet like GFI outlet? Haven't used mine in a long while.

    Measure the voltage on the 12v battery and see what you got. Also key fob battery might be dying after 3 years.

    Yes its a good idea to have that done. Car tracks the age of the battery affecting charging and how long the radio keeps playing after shutting off the car. There are also tools you can get to do it yourself. My dealer didn't charge for it and it took 5 minutes.

    Sounds like there is a short in that circuit. That is why it is blinking fast.

    How bad do you want sync 3? There is an upgrade. Or you can buy a 2016 or newer.

    Just make sure your key fob has the metal emergency key in case you can't open the door to jump the battery.

    Did you replace the mirror? Did the wire to the temp. sensor get reconnected?

    Got $12 check today via email which is nice but it still takes a long time to approve.

    The cable in the picture releases the latch so that it can be opened. Then you can push on the yellow lever to pop the hood.

    I would try a new fob battery and all 5 doors before calling a tow truck. Here is picture of the release mechanism. I could see the ground behind & below the release cable for the hood.

    Normal warning to save the battery. Lasts about 10 minutes with a new battery. As your battery ages the amount of time the radio will play goes down.

    Were those the original plugs? How did they look?

    Radio froze up this morning. Pulled F79 the 15A blue fuse. This is located under the glove box. F79 is the lowest 15A fuse on the 3rd row. Fixed my problem. There are two plastic catches to squeeze and then remove the cover panel to gain access. 2nd time in 5 years this has happened.
