regular gas , completely stock. MPG is more important to me than miles per tank but they kind of go together don't they. Cheers

I get lots of tanks in the 45-49 mpg but never got 600 miles either. Part of it is living in Oregon where you can't pump your own gas so after the first click you are done. The other part is my unwillingness to drive beyond where the car says you have 0 miles left or carry a small tank of gas. Not a big deal just happy to be getting mpg in the high 40's.

Thanks for the response Rebecca. Please don't close our cases as the database is still showing an error that our cars are up to date with 3.6. If that is not fixed I (we) won't be able to download any updates in the future.

I don't have the answer to that but that is the way I took it.

I called Ford Sync today and the the person I talked to didn't know about the problem with the database. She said I was the first person who called her and the database didn't show that 3.8 was available. She said that I could take it into the dealer and get it updated and it would be covered since it was still under warranty.

Wrong assumption on my part, I got a PM from Ford so assumed everyone did that supplied their vin. No difference in getting dealer to do the update just would take up more of your time.

Those who supplied vin's got a PM from Ford to update your car at the dealer. Can you please give us an update on the database bug Rebecca?

The answer for now from Ford is to take your car to a dealer and have them do the update. I downloaded the update from the fusion forum and installed it. Not too difficult. My car is a 2013.

Downloaded the file from the fusion site and successfully updated my c-max to 3.8 yesterday 911 assist is the first choice you make after updating software.

There was also some drain holes on the hatch covered with clear tape that should be removed. They are straight up in the air on the bottom of the hatch with the hatch open.

Glad it is working for you but how do you know the Fusion download is the same as for C-Max?

So maybe there is problems with the update and Ford turned it off for everyone until it is fixed. Or is anyone still seeing it as available?

It has been a couple years since the last update so I can wait a few more days. If it is going to take weeks to fix maybe someone who was able to download it can post it on google drive.

Hopefully they are trying to fix the database so all the c-max owners can get the update, not just the lucky few here on the forum. Thanks Rebecca. I like what Ford is doing here on the forum.

My 2013 says it is up to date v3.6.2 updated aug of 2013

No creaks on our 2013 SEL so I guess they don't all do it.

I like using the FordETIS website it has worked well for tracking recalls for the past 2 years. You don't have to login, just enter your vin which your browser stores. Recalls disappear off of the webpage a couple days after they are completed. The Energi bug appeared last year , I just ignore it.

Press and hold the unlock button on the fob. Works for me.

Took my car in a couple weeks ago , took a week to get the part in and a few hours to install.

Just checked mine. I have about 21k on mine they have been rotated twice. I keep the air at 38 psi. Tread appears to have 3-4/16 left. I would swap fronts with rear and lower pressure. What does the total come to at Costco? Have you been drag racing with a prius? ;)
