Vehicle health report won't complete
homestead replied to Ephethean3's topic in Audio, MyFord, Navigation & SYNC
You could try running again in an area where you have high level signal for your phone or using a different phone. -
I visualized a hack application that would read the current gps location data and append the current list of ev+ locations with your current location causing the car to immediately go into ev mode. Since it would be an ev+ location the car already knows how to deal with them without harming the HVB.

It has taken a couple years but both pieces of carpet on the bottom of the seat backs came completely off. Lots of glue on the back of the carpet but the surface it glues to is very smooth. Maybe a little sandpaper or different type of glue, anyone got a long term solution?

You should have gotten a message after 1 year to change oil if it was less than 10k miles.
-
Same as you 62 & 2, I definitely have more miles than the car.

Glad you are not paying for that one Paul! Wonder what it is costing Ford.

Welcome Jeff We live just down the road from you near Cornelius. Try www.mackenzieford.com for your service They did all the recalls successfully for us. Had a bad experience with Doherty.

1000 points goes to Fotomoto!

ICE starting immediately , I hate it when that happens. I think it's trying to warm up the high voltage battery compartment.

We have had a mild winter in Oregon so far, lately temps have been like spring. Last 2 days over 60 degrees. MPGs going back up. Flowers popping up a month early. Sorry for the nasty winter Northeasterners are getting. Spring is coming!

Connecting a jumper battery to a low battery may charge it slightly bringing the low battery above the threshold where the car will successfully start.

Is it the ICE temperature that helps MPG or the temperature of the intake combustion air?

Ok, but I won't comment on that since that is not the topic. I hope folks with persistent battery problems will search for a dealership with technical experts interested in getting to the root cause and not give up on getting their problem fixed.
-
It's possible Ford already found and fixed the problem by dumping Microsoft, doesn't help those with current cars though.

Don't need a deep cycle battery if everything is working as it should, mine has had no battery problems in almost 2 years since new. Let's not cover up the real problem with a bigger battery, instead find the culprit that is drawing excessive power and fix the problem.

This Ruby Red also lives in Oregon, spent the entire day today driving in the rain. Wipers worked great. They also work well in intermittent mode on days of light rain. Yours must be broke or not adjusted correctly.

One group ignores the speed limit sign, another group ignores the "Slower traffic keep right" sounds like a recipe for Road Rage.

Doesn't opening the car door wake up the car which will start some circuits drawing which will change your main circuit reading.
