I downloaded 3.8 and then 3.10 off the internet and installed it on my 2013 hybrid. 3.10 works fine for me for several months now. The version I downloaded was missing the self diagnostics test.

Just checked mine , they look fine but I can see them degrading over time from rotations. How are your new ones holding up Paul? Any rust?

Does your key fob have a fresh battery? I tried getting the $99 battery but they said it didn't exist even though the ad stated C-max in the fine print. You can also ask them to connect a charger to the battery posts under the hood so you don't lose any stored data. Also make sure they reset the battery management system.

Welcome to the forum. I don't think you are going to like the mpg's you get @80-85mph. Carry the old lady mentality to the interstate too. I totally changed the way I drive, it becomes a game to squeeze out more mpg. Enjoy the car!

Spoke too soon, radio froze this morning. Popped out F79 fuse under glove box and its working again.

Sounds like an intermittent connection. Could pop open the dash cover and reseat/clean the connectors. For the Microsoft problems maybe we need a reset button on the dash to temporarily break the power so it will reboot. Luckily ours has only glitched a couple times in 4.5 years and it fixed itself next time car was restarted.

I think its more likely that something in the car discharged the battery than the battery being bad.

That does sound excessive. Our 2013 has all original bulbs except for one tail light. I believe the voltage should be about 14-15 VDC when charging. How many miles on the car?

Haven't received it as yet. Voice recognition works on ours about half the time. Sometimes it is humorous. Wonder why cars after Aug 9 2013 are excluded?

After replacing the windshield on our car the wipers were only working correctly sometimes. Ford dealer replaced the sensor fixing the problem. When they replaced the windshield I don't think they did a good job glueing the sensor back on as it appeared cloudy.

Our car had some pins that pulled out of connector under the seat.

Did they troubleshoot the problem or just say what it costs to replace camera. You may just have a bad connection at the camera or the other end MFT screen.

Didn't know about the Rav4 hybrid, looked it and it only gets 34/30 mpg. Surprised it killed the prius V.

Make sure notifications is enabled on Bluetooth/sync on your phone.

Will Ford dealers service the upgrade (hardware/software) or do you have to go back to the upgrade company?

You can make separate flash drives with the music for each phone and just plug in the usb drive that you want. I just combined ours onto one flash drive since our music tastes are comparable. Plus the usb format sounds a little better than bluetooth.

Chatted with Ford Sync and they said if the dealer tries to charge you for a sync update to mention the 12M02 - SYNC WITH MYFORD MYLINCOLN TOUCH WARRANTY EXTENSION.

Called my dealer today, asked abut sync updates. He sighed. Said people come in all the time and ask for that but they check them and they are up to date. They charge $130 for an update. Told him about the problems with the database/downloads, he was not aware of any problems there.

The 3.8 version I had definitely had VHR since I just ran it a couple weeks ago, everything else seems to running ok so I'll just wait until the next release. Ford really dropped the ball on making sync updates available from their website. I tried to upload the file from the usb drive after loading and that doesn't work anymore unless you download the update from the ford site which broke after 3.6.

I successfully installed 3.10 this morning. Install takes quite a while and appears to restart the install a few times but eventually finishes. Redshift: Looks like Ford decided to remove the vehicle health report from the menu. I guess I'm ok with that. If that is a bug then they will probably fix it with the next update for new phones. I did chat again with Ford sync and they told me the 3.10 update works for all vehicles. They did want me to go to a dealer to install however.
