Is it the ICE temperature that helps MPG or the temperature of the intake combustion air?

Ok, but I won't comment on that since that is not the topic. I hope folks with persistent battery problems will search for a dealership with technical experts interested in getting to the root cause and not give up on getting their problem fixed.

It's possible Ford already found and fixed the problem by dumping Microsoft, doesn't help those with current cars though.

Don't need a deep cycle battery if everything is working as it should, mine has had no battery problems in almost 2 years since new. Let's not cover up the real problem with a bigger battery, instead find the culprit that is drawing excessive power and fix the problem.

This Ruby Red also lives in Oregon, spent the entire day today driving in the rain. Wipers worked great. They also work well in intermittent mode on days of light rain. Yours must be broke or not adjusted correctly.

One group ignores the speed limit sign, another group ignores the "Slower traffic keep right" sounds like a recipe for Road Rage.

Doesn't opening the car door wake up the car which will start some circuits drawing which will change your main circuit reading.

You can look at the battery voltage and tell if its charging, what you really need is to know which branch is drawing excessive current. That is very difficult especially if it is intermittant.

Merry Christmas to all!

Thanks, it was probably on MFT but I was focused on driving and trying to find it on the wheel. I normally use the green tab but like I said it was not lit. I will try the ok button next time that is easy to find.

The other night I was driving and received a phone call and when I looked at the steering wheel to answer I couldn't find the answer phone button because it was dark in the car. Some of the buttons on the wheel were lit up but not the phone button. Are there other ways to answer the call?

Its pretty hard to turn the key blade, if your fingers are not strong enough try using a pair of pliers to turn the key blade and unlock the door. -

If some of the holes tore out you could go to the hardware store and get some stainless steel fender washers and just screw it back up. Maybe you hit something on the road to pull it loose. I would guess its not covered under warranty. -
You can turn it off, see page 122 of the user manual.

Mine came on at 1 yr mark, only had 8k miles on it at the time.

Just turn on the heater to max , that should start the ICE and charge the HV battery.
